History

John Hull & The Joymakers was organized in 1952 in Gadsden, AL. Initial members included Rev. And Mrs. John Hull, Jack "Jackie" Toney, and Ferrel Cornutt. Toney, who later sang with the Dixie Echoes, Statesmen, Masters V and others, was the most popular singer to come out of the group
