Biography
Jim Murray sang tenor for the Melodaires Quartet of Lansing, Michigan in his early years. He joined the Orrells in the early 1960s, then sang with the Stamps Trio in 1964, and for the Imperials from 1966-1986. He also sang tenor for the Gaither Vocal Band from 1987-1992 and Vocal Edition in the late 1990s, recording a few solo albums during this time period as well. He sang with the Classic Imperials for several months in 2006.
